[Blogmas] Day 4: Men’s Gift Ideas.

Does this post even need an introduction? I think it’s self explanatory. I have a feeling that this is going to be a rather lengthy gift suggestion list, so grab your desired beverage: mine is a fizzy Watermelon (-doesn’t exactly match well with festive aesthetics). I am well aware that these gift ideas won’t please every gift receiver, so give or take from this blog post at your own free will. Multiple retailers may sell the same gift at different prices, I will just give one or two examples of where to obtain each.

  • L’Oréal Men Expert Kick Start Kit – 15.00 at Boots: Whether a man likes it or not it’s quite guaranteed that they will at least be gifted some form of toiletries for Christmas. It’s not the most exciting of presents, though it saves ‘lazy’ people, men and women, from buying or not buying cosmetics throughout the year. This set provides L’Oréal ‘s Hydra Energetic Face wash (150ml), Hydra Energetic Anti-Fatigue Moisturiser (50ml) and the Extreme Glide shave gel (150ml). I think it’s perfect for anyone who isn’t sure on promoting a good skincare routine for themselves.
  • Monty Bojangles Confectioneryapproximately 4-6: They definitely live up to their slogan of ‘curiously moreish’. They make every kind of chocolate truffle you could possibly wish for. Salted caramel truffles to ‘fluffer’ scotch. I brought these on a whim for my Dad one birthday or father’s day and he was hooked. They can be easily found in the chocolate and sweets section of UK supermarkets.
  • Jack Wills Bag of Cavalry Twill Pods6.00 at Boots: These are miniature pods containing body wash. They are ideal for anyone who travels for short periods of time. 8, 10ml pods are in each pack.
  • Man Flu Kit – 8.50 at Boots: If you’re into ‘joke’ presents this one is unique and funny. It’s a little pricey like most unserious presents. Each kits contains a handkerchief, a survivor badge, 6 quarantine stickers, 2 sweets, nose plugs, a whistle and ear plugs.
  • The Mighty mug – 16.99 at Menkind: You may be already familiar with this non-tipping thermal flask. If you know a clumsy person who sits at a computer often, then this will be a much appreciated gift. I think I need to buy myself one. Men kind currently have a limited time 10% off of everything discount code. Use code: CYBERMADNESS.
  • An experience day: book something along the lines of a painting balling trip, cookery class or supercar driving day. Buying tickets for two, or for a small group is most enjoyable than attending a session alone or solely with strangers who are also visiting the venue.
  • Make a snack hamper: buy a wicker basket or a storage box and fill it will the person’s favourite treats. If you want to save money by not having to buy a display box, tie the contents in cellophane wrapping with some spiralled ribbon.
  • Pjs – Oh come on. Most men secret like snuggly, comfortable pyjama sets. Give your husband or boyfriend some good quality pjs from the selection M&S have to offer this year. Prices range from approximately 19.00-40.00. Make sure you present them to him before Christmas day, so he can wear them on the lead up to Christmas as well as Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning.
  • Grooming electrcials: the ‘must have’ male grooming devices are being sold for up to half price at Debenhams. Sale items include the popular Wahl All-in-one lithium compact beard trimmer costing on 10.00 and the Philips Click & Style shave and style, which has be reduced for 100.00 to 60.00.
  • Scratch map: these are around on several gift sites and Amazon for 15-20. Basically it’s a poster world map. Each continent and country is covered by ‘gold’ foiling. Each time a new country is visited a coin can be used to scratch off the foil revealing the coloured map beneath. It’s perfect for anyone who adores travelling globally.
