73 Questions with Emma – Vogue Parody 💭

Happy Sunday to all! Today I bring you a slightly different blog post to you: a 73 Questions tag inspired by Vogue magazine. My Twitter pal Mari, created this Parody & tagged me along with others to join the fun. Usually, I don’t do tag-style blog posts, as they aren’t unique and undifferential from tags that have been floating around on Social Media for some time now. Regardless, I like this tag in particular; perhaps it would be a simple yet interesting way (in a nosy way) to get to know authors behind their blogs. So, here goes…

1. What’s your usual Starbucks order? Back in the UK, it was always a Tall Iced Caramel Latte. Whereas in Korea, I opt for an Iced Americano or Strawberry Juice.
2. What does your work station look like? Shamefully bland looking. I used to have trinkets and nice stationery pots neatly in a row. Now I just have too many Japanese pens.
3. All-time favorite food? Ah man. This is a hard one… Rose cream pasta.
4. Favorite author? Oscar Wilde.
5. What do you think of open relationships? God no.
6. What is your favorite video game? Call of Duty Modern War Fare 2.
7. Guilty pleasure treat? Cheese or spicy flavoured Tortilla Chips.
8. Your favorite movie? Grease.
9. Favorite book? The Story of Tracy Beaker.
10. Best advice you’ve ever received? ‘You’ll never know until you try’.
11. Twitter or Instagram? Instagram.
12. Are you a desktop or laptop person? Neither, tablet.
13. What projects are you working on right now? I’m writing a guest post for a blogsite that gets a substantial amount of views in comparison to mine.
14. What’s your favorite color? Emerald Green.
15. Did you get good grades in school? B grades mostly.
16. Dream job? To be an Author.
17. Played any sports? Currently no, but I used to swim & dance alot in my childhood.
18. Do you have a degree? Nope, but one day… one day.
19. Nationality? British, and proud.
20. What’s your favorite kind of blog post to do? Writing about a controversial topic.
21. What do you like to collect? Not so much thesedays, but lipsticks, pens, notepads and foreign coins.
22. Describe yourself in 3 words? Helpful, attentive & hungry (always).
23. If you were a rapper what would your name rapper be? Got no bars.
24. Who was the last person you DM’d? My Instagram friend Mara. She reviews beauty & skincare on her page.
25. What’s on the top of your wish list right now? I was going to say a toasted sandwich maker, but to give a more sensible answer I would have to say a will to live… Ok ok, a new phone. I rely on it alot for navigation in a foreign country & mine is just starting to slow down.
26. Sorting House? Hufflepuff.
27. How many tattoos do you have? None at all, because I know I will become to dislike the design.
28. What are you most grateful for this year? Gaining in confidence to write more frequently.
29. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you this month? Uhm… I got a ‘buy one, get on free’ deal on moisturiser. Does that count?
30. What’s the best thing that’s happened to you today? I ate left over Tteokbokki for breakfast, that always a win win.
31. What’s the best thing ever? To be loved by someone just as much as you love them… Also chicken nuggets.
32. Favorite season? Autumn of course.
33. Favorite holiday? Christmas!
34. Which fictional character do you relate to the most? Wednesday Addams.
35. Do you like surprises? Depends on the suprise. I got suprised with a Sinus infection during my GCSE exams once; I can’t exactly say I appreciated that one.
36. What’s the biggest surprise you ever had? My parents took me to buy my first Kitten.
37. What’s the surprise that made you cry? Again, buying the cat.
38. What’s the best surprise you’ve ever given someone? A weekend away to the countryside for my parents wedding anniversary.
39. Do you like muffins? Yes. Dark chocolate, no white chocolate thank you.
40. Do you cook often? Yes, almost everyday. I don’t understand how people can survive without at least basic culinary skills.
41. What’s your favorite dessert? Can’t choose between Black Forest Gateau & Mandarin cheesecake.
42. Is there a dessert you don’t like? Mung bean mochi.
43. Cake or pie? Cake… Wait. Why are we discrimating against crumble/biscuit based treats!? What about roulade!?
44. What’s your least favorite food? Tuna mayonnaise. I’d rather eat dry crackers than that.
45. What’s your favorite condiment? Spicy mayo.
46. It’s 4 AM on a Saturday night, what would you eat? Pretzels.
47. If you could teach a college class, what would it be called? Modern Studies on the Art of not giving a f***.
48. Best animated film? Kiki’s Delivery Service.
49. What has a guy done or said to impress you? Wearing more black clothing than me. Beautiful.
50. Best thing to do on a first date? Eat Sushi & take a night walk.
51. Worst thing to do on a first date? Inviting friends to tag along.
52. What’s the funniest pick-up line a guy could use on a girl? None, they shouldn’t exist.
53. Best comic book character? Iron Man, duh.
54. What are three things that are always in your purse? Lip balm, oil blotting sheets & cat fluff that I don’t want.
55. Favorite drink? I rarely drink alcohol. Occasionally I will have a fruity cider or Bailey’s Irish cream. As for non-alcoholic beverages, I’d say lemonade or matcha latte.
56. If you could play a historical figure in a movie who would it be? Cleopatra, so I could find out if Aliens really did have an influence on the construction of the Ancient Pyramids.
57. Kittens or puppies? Kittens.
58. Tell me your favorite sushi roll? Anything with Shrimp or Philadelphia roll (salmon, avocado & cream cheese).
59. What kind of lip stick do you use? Anything matte and nude in colour.
60. What kind of fountain do you use? L’Oréal True Match (1N because I’m a vampire).
61. Blow dry or air dry? Blow dry my side-fringe, air dry the rest.
62. Who is your fashion icon? No one in particular, I look at local people and just choose what I like personally even if its not trendy.
63. Favorite Disney Character? Belle.
64. What are you doing for tomorrow? Having coffee with a friend.
65. Movie you laughed the hardest through? White Chicks.
66. Movie that made you cry? E.T, on several occasions.
67. If you could sing a duet with someone, who would it be? Luther Vandross.
68. If your life was a song, what would the title be? Barely awake.
69. What’s your favourite animal? Anything with fluff on it.
70. Favorite illustrator? Tom Lovell.
71. Person you wanna have coffee with? Jacqueline Wilson.
72. What’s the country you wish to visit? Italy.
73. Best way to decompress? Hugging my cats (i.e. Cat therapy).
