A month of masking – Day 4
Today’s mask is yet another new one to me. The Vivir Greenery mask and the brand overall focus on ‘Live’/living (-‘Vivir’ in Spanish). According to their website, with the help of translation, it appears that the brand aim to make skincare simple and straightforward for those who are drawn in by the colourful false lifestyles represented in the advertisements for high-end, expensive beauty products. They hope they can incorporate nature into people’s lives through skincare that they will use throughout their lifetime.
So what can I tell you from my experience:
– Has a fresh, light herby scent,
– the essence isn’t overly sticky; moreso inbetween the thickness of a water based toner and aloe gel (or similar gels),
– it is particularly good for mild ~ summer months/seasons of the year.
The only think I wasn’t satisfied about is that it dried out too rapidly; due to the ampoule being somewhat watery and less viscous in comparison to the majority of Korean sheet masks. Then again if you are in search of a quick use mask that doesn’t dampen your skin too much, then this could be for you. For me, I felt like I only had to wear it for 15 minutes.
To be trueful, this product didn’t stand out in a unique way; although I can definitely recommend it for those who would like to use a basic mask once or twice per week.
My current skin condition: finally my skin is returning back to its usual clear state. I firmly believe that I need to continue to give my skin extra hydration for the next few weeks to prevent blemishes.
