[Ad-Gifted]: G9skin Pink Blur Hydrogel Eye Patches Review.

A few months ago I started using Hydrogel Eyepatchs on the odd occasion but wasn’t satisfied with packets containing 2 pairs at most. Thanking to G9skin I now have a tub of their ‘Pink Blur Hydrogel Eye patches’ to use at least once a week or “whenever wrinkle improvement is desired”. The packaging states that these eyepatches, that can also be used on undereyes, smile lines, forehead, dry elbows etc, contain “highly concentrated berry complex to provide a moisturising effect and smooth face lines”.

Here is some key information and features of the eye patches:

❇️ Should be used for 20~30 minutes.

❇️ 5,000ppm thickness gauge.

❇️ Made with several fruit extracts including Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries & Cranberries.

❇️ Gently scented with fragrance placed last on the ingredient list.

❇️ Contains 2 shape/size variations (4 slices/cuts per layer).

❇️ Can reduce swelling of puffy undereyes.

❇️ 100g/120 pieces.

After using this for the full 30 minutes, the skin of my undereyes felt firmer in a non-tight way. Some of the redness caused by poor sleep and habitually touching/rubbing my eyes due to allergies and other sensitivities, had begun to be less prominent and were visably de-puffed throughout the day. Not too much residue remained, making it easy it apply base makeup to that area if necessary.

As the patches are rather drenched in the essence contained within the tub, the patches can slide down your face if you aren’t sitting down/still. Anyway, as most people will probably want to use them at the end of a long day, ideally you should use them when relaxing as opposed to soaking in the hydration as you go about doing tasks or housework. I find the best time to use them is when watch tv/YouTube, because during that time your head and face has limited movement; making it less likely for the eye patches to full off or out of position. A honey version is also optional, and other beauty bloggers mentioned that the honey type is better for mature skin or for those with prominent puffy ‘eye bags’ or dark circles.

With any skincare product, particularly an anti-wrinkle/anti-aging or one that treats the effects on physical appearance that fatigue causes, it’s important to use the eye patches consistently to enable wrinkle improvement and other mentioned benefits. Even at my age (24, just outside of the recommended age range for using at least basic anti-aging products), I would recommend that even people my age or younger (late teens to be exact) should use these daily or once every other day in order to slow down the damage of UV rays and other environmental factors.

As I said in my Leader’s hydrogel eye therapy patch review, patches like these by G9skin should definitely be taken into consideration by people who have hay-fever and other seasonal allergies which trouble eyes. Hydrogel eye patches of course can’t soothe the irritation that our actual eyeballs/inner eye suffers from, but if you have these allergies you will know how hard it is to deter yourself from rubbing your eyes: by the end of a day your under-eyes will be swollen and red. That’s when these eye patches would be desired most.
