[AD-Gifted] ByWishtrend Review πŸ

Finally I got round to trying some ByWishtrend products – most of you will probably know that this brand is owned by ‘Wishtrend’, who are successful distributors of selected Kbeauty brands including Klairs. For now I’ll be concentrating on reviewing two ByWishtrend products: the ‘Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash’ & their ‘Acid-Duo Hibiscus 63 Cream’.

ByWishtrend Acid-Duo Hibiscus 63 Cream

One of the most important factors I consider when choosing skincare is the pH level, I don’t want to take the risk of irriating my sensitive skin by using a product which has a high pH level. So when I received the ‘Acid-Duo Hibiscus 63 Cream’ By Wishtrend, I was pleased to read that it has a low pH. Commonly, whenever we see the word ‘acid’ in the name of a product, we automatically assume that its going to cause more harm than good; at least in the long term. However, I can confidently state that I’ve haven’t experienced anything negative since using this cream!

Key Ingredients – LHA (in the form of Salicylic Acid), PHA (in the form of Gluconolactone) & 63% Hibiscus flower extract. The LHAs & PHAs mildy exfoliate skin, with the Gluconolactone strengthening skins protective barrier from UV damage & other external factors. The hibiscus provides antioxidants & supports the effectiveness of the LHA & PHA ingredients.

Performance – From first use, I immediately noticed how lightweight the formula feels both when applying it & once it had adhered to skin. The texture is similar to a gel-cream, but even thinner in viscosity. Regardless of the cream’s weightlessness, it provides just as much hydration as a face lotion minus the high emulsion content. The natural scent of hibiscus isn’t overpowering, nor does it linger. I thought maybe using Salicylic acid everyday would make me have frequent breakouts, but my skin has remained relatively clear of imperfections. I hope to see the corrections to dull or uneven skintone within the next few weeks as it promises to have this ability; although I can already see my skin is looking more radiant at the high points of my face.

ByWishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash

As a lover a Matcha & Sencha lover, I was pleased to receive the ‘Green Tea & Enzyme Powder Wash’ ByWishtrend πŸ’š What’s makes this face wash so special? – It has a low pH level, but remains effective in removing dead skin cells & impurities with it’s finely milled green tea powder, papain enzymes, coconut-derived surfactant and baking Soda for gentle exfoliation & polishing skin. As this product is mainly centred around Green tea, the product encompasses all the beneficial properties of green tea: antioxidants, ability to purify, Vitamins A+C & E, calms irritation as well as reducing redness.

Summary – First of all I appreciate the concept of this product. Not only has it be designed with traditional & natural East Asian herbal remedies in mind, its follows the modern day approach of sustainability. As the product isn’t premixed with water or a water-based fluid, it is more eco friendly. It’s lightweight, weighing just 70g, making it ideal for travel purposes if desired (you can easily of course take it in your aeroplane hand luggage as it won’t contribute to your liquid limit). A little goes far, mostly because it lathers to a frothy consistency resembling a hot matcha latte (now I’m remembering the matcha treats I ate/drank in Osaka, take me back to there! πŸ˜‹).

Out of all the ingredients in the world, for some reason green tea suits me perfectly; therefore since using this wash I hadn’t & still don’t feel the need to turn away from it to find an alternative. I already know I’ll be purchasing this time & time again. It makes my skin feel so so soooooo smooth & is starting to boost my confidence for occasionally going out makeup-free. πŸ’¬ Do you have a favourite green tea infused skincare product?

Overall I’m very impressed with ByWishtrend. Their products are innovative and most, if not all, of their products are make with the ‘balancing skin’ in mind: using low pH levels so even those with sensitive skin can use their products, but the ingredients which they select help maintain effective skincare with little to no disappointment. I have included direct links below if you are interested in purchasing either of these products.
