Mask Mondays: Briskin Real Fit Second Skin Mask (Hydration version) πŸ’—

The Briskin Real Fit Second Skin Mask (Hydration version) is Glam Touch‘s best selling sheet mask. I regretted not picking one up to try from Oliveyoung in Korea last year, so it’s great to have easy access to a variety of Briskin masks in the UK.

About this sheet mask:
🌸 It’s a Bio-cellulose mask which adheres closely to skin to mimick a ‘second skin’ which doesn’t shift throughout use.

🌸 It key feature is coconut water to hydrate skin without contributing any excess oil.

🌸 Active ingredients: Hylauronic Acid, panthenol & adenosine.

🌸 Soothing & healing ingredients: Centella Asiatica, Heartleaf and Camellia extracts.

🌸 The Bio-cellulose sheet is placed between too layers of mesh for easy removal from the packaging and to be able to place the delicate mask on your face without it flopping or tearing.

Full ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Glycereth-26, 1,2-Hexanediol, PEG/PPG-17/6 Copolymer, Centella Asiatica Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Adenosine, Panthenol, Butylene Glycol, PEG-32, Xanthan Gum, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Carbomer, Arginine, Phenyl Trimethicone, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Ethylhexylglycerin, Disodium EDTA, Fragrance

My experience

This mask definitely has more of a cooling effect than cotton sheet masks, which I found to be very soothing as my skin was feeling too warm last night. The mesh did actually help me to apply the mask – acting like a guideline/template to make sure it lined up correctly with facial features.

It calmed down the redness of some bumps I currently have underneath my eyes from irritation from my eye/sleep mask and it helped make my skin feel bouncier. Now I really want to try other varieties of Briskin masks.

It does have a musk floral scent which I found to be pleasant and even though the mask contains fragrance, my sensitive skin didn’t seem bothered by that as it isn’t highly concentrated.

Fit: 8/10, Sits flatly against skin with minimal overlapping.

Price Point: 7/10, not too expensive at Β£4 but not cheap enough to use multiple times per week. Even in Korea they are almost a midrange priced sheet mask in Korean drugstores (on average costing β‚©4,000).

Impact: 7.5/10
