On Thursday I received TheYeon Toning7 Radiance Liquid Cream & I can already say that I’m very impressed! First of all, not often do we come across a skincare product that can act as a toner and light emulsion at the same time. To be exact the packaging states that it’s an “intensive liquid moisturiser to use as the first step in the skincare routine”: by this I think they mean the first part in your skincare routine that relates to hydration rather than first step cleansing. More or less, it preps skin with “multi-vitamins and milk protein concentrated nutrients”.
π 9 multi-vitamins brighten skin with a shiny/dewy finish.
π Contains 5 types of ceramide that function as nourishing agents.
π Includes 5 types of Peptides for firming skin.
πContains 30% milk protein for nourishing skin and maintaining skin’s elasticity.
π The inclusion of Jeju Oxygenated water & Hallabong (Dekopon fruit) protects skin’s barrier.
π Phyto-complex calms skin – “phyto-complex” relates to the active molecules found in plants; sometimes they are referred to as ‘phytochemicals’. To be exact, the 3 plant extracts are Purslane, Centella & Chameleon plant.
π Free from Parabens, Phenoxyethanol, gluten, mineral oils, talc, benzophenone, artificial colouring.
It has a gentle, typical herbal scent with a mildly oily texture that certainly hydrates skin without excessive greasiness. You can of course use a layered cotton pad to apply this cream toner, but pouring out 3 or so drops into a cupped hand before carefully patting it into skin works equally as well as prevents contributing to landfill. It must be shaken well before each and every use to merge the separated layers of lighter and creamer components in the solution.
To be trueful, I can’t see why there aren’t many types of this product on the market when it caters to all skin types. For reference, I have sensitive oily skin and haven’t experienced any issues from using this twice per day during my morning and evening skincare routines.
